Carolina Panthers’ new coach, Dave Canales, disclosed the news to the media following Tuesday’s practice session. Penny had joined the team during the offseason, drawn by his familiarity with Canales and offensive coordinator Brad Idzik from their time together at the Seattle Seahawks.
