In Week 3 of the NFL season, the spreads for the Giants and Eagles games are quite generous, as well as Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb’s receiving yards Over. Robert Criscola is maximizing the value in his latest NFL parlays.
As we enter only the second week of the NFL season, it seems that everyone has already given up on the NFC East.
The Giants are being offered almost a full touchdown against the Browns, the Cowboys are catching points at home for the first time since 2022 against the Ravens, and the Eagles shifted from being lookahead favorites to late-week underdogs against the Saints.
“My NFL picks will focus on buying low in games involving these three teams as I put together my top parlay and SGP plays for Week 3,” says Criscola.
Criscola shares, “I made sure to avoid the 2.5-point spread available for the Philadelphia Eagles vs. New Orleans Saints game by heading to BetMGM for this parlay.”
He adds, “I believe that the absence of AJ Brown is being exaggerated and that the Eagles have playmakers like DeVonta Smith for Jalen Hurts to rely on. Don’t dismiss Philly just because they lost a late lead against the Falcons on Monday.”
Criscola notes, “I’m adjusting the New York Giants from +6.5 (-105) to +7 (-120) for my next leg. I don’t think the Cleveland Browns should be favored by this much against anyone, regardless of location.”
Regarding the Giants vs. Browns matchup, he points out, “This game has the potential to be a grind with Daniel Jones and Deshaun Watson leading their teams. The low total of 39 set for this contest is indicative of that.”
He continues, “Low-scoring games often result in closely-fought ones. Despite the Giants losing both of their first two games outright and against the spread, they covered in six of their final seven games last season.”
Criscola reveals, “I have found a solid total play to conclude this parlay with the Chicago Bears vs. Indianapolis Colts going Under 43.5. While this is a relatively low number, I believe it could go even lower.”
He comments, “We are still waiting for Caleb Williams to throw his first touchdown pass. Luckily, his defense has kept him in his first two NFL games. The Colts offense, led by Anthony Richardson, has appeared lackluster, except for a couple of big plays against the Texans in Week 1.”
Criscola explains, “In order to minimize risk of the first leg pushing on the actual total of 48, I am willing to pay a few extra cents to bring the game total down by 1.5 points.”
He analyzes, “I haven’t been impressed by either defense this season. The Baltimore Ravens have allowed 257 passing yards per game, the worst in the league. Even after facing Patrick Mahomes in Week 1, their struggles against the pass continued against Gardner Minshew and the Raiders.”
Criscola points out, “CeeDee Lamb’s receiving total is at its lowest in 10 games, despite posting 90 yards against the Saints in Week 2. He has accumulated at least 90 receiving yards in five of his last six games dating back to last season.”
On the Cowboys defense, he observes, “Dallas looked strong against the Browns in Week 1, but struggled against Alvin Kamara and the surprising 2-0 Saints team in Week 2. Kamara scored three touchdowns against Micah Parsons & Co., which could pose a challenge for Ravens running back Derrick Henry in the upcoming game.”
In conclusion, Criscola is optimistic about his Week 3 parlays and believes he has identified key value plays to maximize his return. He remains confident in his selections involving the NFC East teams and is ready for an exciting weekend of NFL action.
